Not your standard afternoon tea fare, but this is one of my mom's recipes, always a big hit at family gatherings:
Mom's Tuna Dip
1 pint sour cream
4 oz. cream cheese
2 tbsp (heaping) cottage cheese
2 tbsp (heaping) Miracle Whip
1 squirt Wooster sauce
1 sm can tuna
Ketchup to taste
Potato chips, corn chips, wheat thins, triscuits, etc. for dipping
Soften cream cheese. Add all ingredients except ketchup to large bowl and beat lightly. Add the ketchup last, and just a splash at a time "to taste". Serve with chips and/or crackers for dipping. Make plenty, it will go fast, I guarantee.
I used to watch mom make this, and she never did it the same way twice. She always just eyeballed the ingredients and tasted as she went. I finally got her to write the ingredients down, but it's really more of a "to taste" kind of recipe. I prefer a little extra cottage cheese in mine, and very little ketchup.
Sounds great.. I love tuna, will try this one out..

Please educate me on the definition of the term: mouse-waddling.
Maybe this should be on Wikipedia?

This looks yummy! I'll definitely try this. And with a few adjustments to low/no-fat sour cream and cheeses, it could be good for the diet, too. Thanks again! :-)
