My poor brother is driving to a job in Florida and can't be home with his kids on Father's Day! I called to wish him a happy day and he sounded so forlorn!
In honor of my brother the dad, here are two of his favorite coffee recipes:
Kevin's Cappuccino
Put in cup: 1 spoonful sugar and a generous pinch of nutmeg
Pour in double shot of espresso
Add foamed milk
Sprinkle cinnamon on top
Add a stick of cinnamon for flavor and garnish
Vanilla Mochaccino
Double shot of espresso
Stir in 1-2 spoonfuls Nestle's cocoa mix
Add 1-2 tablespoons French Vanilla flavored Coffee Mate (you could use a tiny bit of vanilla extract and some sugar if you don't have this available)
Add foamed milk
Sprinkle cocoa lightly on top
Enjoy! And Kevin, thanks for the recipes!! I promise to make whichever you want (or both!) when you get home from your job.
Vanilla Mochaccino's been in my day two days running, now. Yum.
Thx again!

Hmmm, I'll have one of each! I do have to say that cappuccino is one of my all time favorites! I think I'll follow David to the coffee shrine.

Ahhh! Just the thing to come home to after an afternoon of "Fathers Day" shopping (Fathers Day shopping: where dad gets to spend more on his kids :-)
Delicious coffee recipes to relax with.
Vanilla Mochaccino shounds like a go: I have the ingredients (or close substitutes--different brand of flavored creamer) so I'm off to the Coffee Shrine in the kitchen.
Thanks!
