On display now (in Lawrence, Kansas, of all places), this collection of coffee-on-canvas paintings done by artist Chanisa Arthachinda, entirely with espresso. The result is a world rich in browns, which won't seem strange to coffee-lovers, although some might cringe to see all those beans made into coffee not fit to drink. The espresso is brewed as thick as oil, and then watered down to create the variations in tone and color.
She says the idea to paint with coffee came to her in a dream. Inspiration often comes from places hidden from the conscious mind. The result is certainly beautiful.
your blog is so nice
Thanks.

Absolutely innovative and appetizing at the same time. I love the variety and different depths of color with the coffee.
There's also another form of coffee art out there...except more digital and ambient sound related. At http://www.girlnoise.com you can download actual coffee shop sounds to your iPod or portable mp3 player. Pretty cool! I never before realized how artistic and musical the mundane coffee shop sounds can be.

LOL, aren't they deliciously mouthwatering? I love the tints and hues. That same article talks about painting / artwork done with chocolate and some other stuff that didn't sound very appetizing, but the chocolate one ... now that would be hard to leave on the wall.
