I was trying to get a good shot of our date palm, which is fruiting heavily this year, when I suddenly became aware of 3 pairs of eyes watching me.
It was a momma dove and two babies, nesting in the crook of some of the lower branches that had been pruned back. It's a little precarious there, but doves have never been very good at nest building.
I got as close as I could, and was lucky enough to get all 3 of them in the shot. Hopefully you can see them. Click to see the larger version.
