Discriminating Taste

con·nois·seur  (kn-sûr, -sr) n. A person with expert knowledge or training, especially in the fine arts. A person of informed and discriminating taste: a connoisseur of fine wines.

I don't qualify for either of these definitions, except in the loosest sense.  My opinions about tea and coffee are like my opinions about art.  I like what I like.  I don't like what I don't like.  And I can't always tell you why.  I have a ... hhmmmm .... somewhat-moderately-informed discriminating taste.  But I tend to use bigfat generalizations like "good" and "bad", which would make a real coffee / tea connoisseur do a bigfat guffaw.

That's why I don't attempt to do coffee or tea reviews here in any kind of serious way.  I do, however, collect links to other sites that DO have good reviews.  These folx have been very helpful to me in deciding what to try/buy.
