I recommend any book written by Joanna Lindsay - special favorites of mine are the wonderful Mallory family of course and I love the Vikings!
Vikings: Fires of Winter, Hearts Aflame, Surrender My Love
Anything by Christina Dodd is a winner too! The Governess Bride series is a particular favorite:
Governess Brides: Rules of Surrender, Rules of Engagement, Rules of Attraction
There are a lot of Mallory family books ... my daughter & I read all titles by both of these authors!

Barbara, thanks so much for those suggestions. I'm adding them to my list! Lyvvie, yes! How could I have forgotten The Princess Bride!?! That's one of my all time favorites too. Another one I just discovered - Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Kind of dark, but wonderful.
